Phoenix Police on Monday said that two citizens died at a shooting incident, and the suspect was also fatally shot.

In a tweet, the police said that two of its officers sustained non-life threatening injuries following the incident. Three others were injured as well.

The police called it a “very complex scene”. They added that a part of the Deer Valley Road in the city, where the shooting took place, would be closed for the “foreseeable future”, advising the public to seek alternate routes.
